Finland’s Troll VFX has shared its visual effects breakdown for survival thriller Thrash.
It’s a really double-survival thriller, since the protagonists survive the flooding of a coastal town during a hurricane, only to discover that the floodwaters are full of ravenous sharks.
Troll VFX’s work focuses on the floodwater, not the ravening – although there are some gory shots showing the results of shark bites – including a wall of water breaking through the window of a house, and people on a range of craft: both actual boats, and a floating car.
