I’ve been updating people on the latest concerts and happenings since 2007, and I never would have thought we’d be expanding to a new location like this.
The spark for Cebu Concert Scene was ignited in April 2024, thinking of a major expansion. Witnessing LANY’s incredible three-night residency at the Waterfront Hotel Cebu—courtesy of Live Nation Philippines in October 2024 was a turning point. Following month, I was invited to cover Hillsong London show at the Seaside City Grounds, and Josh Cullen’s solo show in Mandani Bay Tent. In that moment, the vision became clear: the same energy and professional standards we built with Manila Concert Scene needed a home in Cebu.
As the demand for legitimate media coverage grows across the country, I didn’t want to miss the opportunity to bring that signature magic to this vibrant region. This dedicated platform now serves as the definitive hub for professional news and real-time updates, ensuring local fans never miss a beat. I truly believe Cebu is rapidly becoming the Philippines’ next great epicenter for world-class music and sporting events. Beyond the big international tours, I am equally committed to providing a stage where local artists can flourish and take their careers to the next level.
As we continue to grow, I’m excited to officially launch www.cebuconcerts.com. My goal was to create a professional space where fans can find legitimate news and updates all in one place. This site is part of my media collective, which provides coverage across music (Manila Concert Scene, Global Pinoy Concerts, and Planet P-pop), entertainment and lifestyle (PopCulture Dawg), and sports (Gameday Philippines).
We already have a team on the ground for Cebu Concert Scene, and I expect to look for more members soon. Honestly, it’s difficult to manage such a massive brand without having eyes on the ground to capture the action firsthand, which is why I am so grateful to my current team.
