Seiko appears to have started a new numbering scheme with model numbers starting with H and not S as used for many decades.
The first model, introduced on 10th March, to utilize this new model number format was the JDM Lukia HEE002J Happy Collection 2026 Warm Moments Limited Edition. Looking at the watch and the model number you will notice some unusual things that do not match the traditional model number format. In addition to the initial character being a H not S, it has an even numbered suffix, 002. Traditionally an even numbered model number indicated a golden colored bezel, but that is clearly not the case here. If the old model numbering had been used for this model it would have been referred to as the SSQW105, following the silver bezeled SSQW103 and golden toned SSQW104.
