PHOTOS: Air Serbia launches eighth Spain route

Air Serbia inaugurated flights between Belgrade and Seville this afternoon, connecting the two cities with a scheduled air service for the first time. The new two weekly rotation becomes Air Serbia’s eighth route to Spain, and its ninth new destination launched this year. Spain has emerged as one of Serbia’s fastest-growing outbound aviation markets this year, with Air Serbia handling 179.066 passengers on its Spanish routes between January and August.

Commenting on the new service, the carrier’s CEO, Jiri Marek, said, “By introducing a direct service to Seville, we continue to boost Air Serbia’s presence in the Spanish market while offering passengers even more opportunities for travel throughout the year. Following Tenerife, which we recently added to our network, we are now directly connecting Belgrade with Andalusia, one of Spain’s most visited and culturally recognizable regions. Seville is an attractive destination both for short city breaks and as a starting point for exploring the south of the country”.
