This little nugget of a boy has a degloved paw, no doubt run over by a motorbike.
He’s in terrible pain. Imagine being someone so young, hardly having seen the world outside your mama’s small circle, and suddenly to be struck with such shocking pain.
We gently placed him in a basket for safe transport to our hospital where we began the first of many wound cleanings.
Nourishing food, those cleanings and antibiotics were, of course, essential for Jeremy’s healing, but the ingredient that made all the difference may have been the love he received from his caregivers–among whom was a special puppy friend. After medical help and love, they seem to say “Trouble? What trouble?”
