Independent Audit Verifies ReUp’s Internal Controls and Processes

A SOC 2 audit provides an independent, third-party validation that an organization’s information security practices meet industry standards stipulated by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA). The Higher Education Community Vendor Assessment Toolkit (HECVAT) is a standardized questionnaire developed by EDUCAUSE that colleges and universities use to assess the security and privacy practices of their third-party vendors. It covers areas such as data protection, access controls, application security, incident response, and business continuity. The HECVAT gives institutions more visibility into how vendors handle their data and helps streamline the vendor risk assessment process across higher education.
