Ours is not too bad and as you mentioned, rubber bands, etc. I learned many years ago to use the cardboard bottoms from the large packages of Velveeta cheese as dividers/containers in the junk drawer. Just the right size to control items, if you want to call it that, and shallow enough to allow the drawer to open and close without catching on them. I venture to guess that some of these boxes are in excess of ten years old. Still workin’.
