The best TV shows to binge on a long-haul flight

Long-haul flights probably aren’t anyone’s favourite, but they are a good excuse to binge a new TV show. Here are a couple of shows perfect for a long-haul flight.

Superstore

This comedy series had short episodes and lovable characters and it’s an easy watch, perfect for long flights with plenty of free time. Following the employees of a superstore, this series spans years of their time at Cloud 9. I love this show so much and was so sad when it ended, I became so invested in these characters from their career paths to their relationships.

Community

Another short episode series full of eccentricities, brilliant characters, and a unity you’ll definitely feel emotionally invested in. This series follows a study group during their years at a community college and every weird moment that comes with it. Warning, you will get way more invested in this mismatched group than you will expect to get!

Dead Pixels

A short but sweet show, so you could definitely binge the whole thing on a flight. It’s two series long and surrounds a group of friends who are addicted to a fantasy RPG, following their lives both on and offline. If you’re a gamer missing your own consoles back at home whilst on your flight, this show is the perfect way to immerse yourself into a game without actually being able to play.

Ghosts US

There’s a UK version of this show, but I’d personally head straight to the US version, it’s a lot funnier, cleverer, and just generally a better watch. Following a family who moves to a very old house where one of the pair can see the ghosts that have died there over the years. This is a great comedy with some really brilliant characters and I love the clever way it integrates in moments of history.

The Good Place

This is the type of show where it feels like literally anything can happen – and trust me, it does! This follows what happens to you after you’ve died, except it’s a comedy and the path our main character is on isn’t actually the path she should be on. This certainly goes a long way from where it starts in season one and I know a lot of people didn’t like where the last season went, but personally, I enjoyed the ending and the show as a whole.
