Mellifluous melodies surf the wind, acoustic watercolors catching invisible corduroy swells, riding them down the moments; as the morning turns to blush beneath sweet whispers from the night…
As much of the world continues to unravel all around us, there are things that we can do to stay well above its crumbling countenance. When you’re feeling lost, desperate, or alone; turn to something that has proven, for you, to generate calmness, hope, and stability. For some it is their faith. For others their family. For some it is writing, working out, meditating, music, art, yoga, gardening, hiking, team sports, or prayer. Possibilities are relatively endless, and if you reflect, you will probably find some things that work for you. And you don’t want to base them on what works for somebody else — because each of us is so very different. Give yourself permission to be who you are, and find what really works — for you.
For instance, music, writing, working out, and prayerful meditation are things that always lift me up above the world. So since covid hit, and our entire world has shifted into fight or flight; I have turned to these things to find peace, happiness, and joy. From the music focus has emerged a collection of original songs, the production of an album, and now the completion of the first phase of post-production work — mixing.

After a month of detailed analysis of the elements of each song — writing notes, making tweaks, re-analyzing, more notes, more tweaks, etc. — we arrived at the final mixes for all 11 songs. So please allow me to share the final mix of Billy Ray Norris – A Little Dose Of Heaven — the album.
