A Meditative Exploration of Sound and Solitude – Echo Room

Experimental project Dance et al., led by Johnny Dance, introduces A Seamine Symbol’, the evocative focus track from the upcoming album The Things We Do With The Time We Have. Rooted in solitude and analog-driven craftsmanship, the track embodies the album’s shift towards introspection, stripping away digital elements in favor of raw, live instrumentation. Featuring a mesmerizing guitar performance by Dance’s wife, Kelly Dance, A Seamine Symbol’ unfolds as a deeply immersive sonic experience, capturing the quiet intensity of the creative process.

Complementing the track, filmmaker Nads Spencer directs a striking music video that bridges music and mindfulness. Blending documentary storytelling with visual artistry, the film follows real individuals who find freedom in solitary, meditative activities. Through a seamless interplay of vision, music, and subtitles, A Seamine Symbol’  invites viewers to slow down and engage fully, mirroring the track’s hypnotic and introspective nature.

Set for release on 13 February 2025, A Seamine Symbol’ offers a rare moment of stillness in an increasingly chaotic world. With Dance et al.’s commitment to analog warmth and unfiltered emotion, the track and its accompanying video promise an experience that transcends music, urging audiences to embrace presence and deep listening.
