French producer Aalson, known for his melodic techno, takes a different approach with Rain, an atmospheric composition that blends delicate piano melodies with evolving rhythmic textures. Departing from his usual sound, this track embraces an ambient aesthetic, creating a hypnotic journey of tension and release.
A pedal note runs through the beginning of Rain, providing a grounding element as gentle piano lines weave in and out. As the track unfolds, rhythmic patterns emerge, gradually introducing a dynamic groove. In the latter half, the soundscape becomes livelier, incorporating downsampled textures and evolving beats that add depth and movement.
Following the success of his Daylight EP on Purified and performances at venues like Bikini in Toulouse and SummerSet in Georgia, Aalson continues to explore new sonic territory.
