The NWS in Birmingham has confirmed a preliminary EF1 tornado in the vicinity or just south of the town of Shorter. We don’t have any additional information at this time, but we will update in a new post once we receive more information later today. In addition, the NWS will be surveying damage in Elmore and Tallapoosa counties as well.
