Massachusetts Craft Brewers Festival Returns April 26, 2025
PRESS RELEASE / January 22, 2025 (Boston, MA) – The year was 1933, and America was ready to raise a glass. After 13 long, dry years of Prohibition, the taps opened once more, unleashing a wave of creativity and craftsmanship that redefined brewing. This wasn’t just about beer—it was about freedom, innovation, and reclaiming a beloved tradition.
Small, family-run breweries sprang up like wildflowers across the country and the Commonwealth. These independent brewers weren’t churning out generic lagers; they were artists, blending old-world techniques with new-world ingenuity to craft beers overflowing with flavor and character.
Fast forward to today, and that same spirit of independence thrives—230+ breweries strong in Massachusetts. Join us on Saturday, April 26, at Boston’s Center for the Arts, Cyclorama, for the Massachusetts Craft Brewers Festival, where we’ll raise a glass to the past and toast to a future of vibrant, free-flowing craft beer!
Two Sessions:
Session 1: 1 – 4 p.m.
Session 2: 5 – 8 p.m.
What’s on Tap?
Discover more than 40 Massachusetts craft breweries, pouring their finest beers along with a limited number of kombucha, seltzers and ciders (this is first and foremost a beer festival). This isn’t just a tasting—it’s a tribute to the artistry, independence, and innovation of local brewing.
More Than a Festival:
Every sip supports the Mass Brewers Guild, a grassroots organization championing the rights, freedoms, and passions of our craft brewers. This is an event for brewers, by brewers, and the ultimate gathering for craft beer enthusiasts.

General Admission: $55 (includes unlimited beer samples).

What’s the scoop on COVID policies?
Well, Boston’s playing it easy breezy—no restrictions here! Masks? A-OK if you prefer, but they’re not required. We’ve got hand sanitizing stations aplenty, so no excuses for dirty mitts. Feeling under the weather? Stay home, rest up, and test before you come back to paint the town red.
What’s in it for me once I’m inside?
Why, unlimited beer samples, of course! Drink responsibly and sip like a sophisticate, not a sap.
Is there a beer list? A map?
You bet your bottom dollar! Just look above—it’s all there for your perusal.
Can I grab tickets at the door?
Absolutely! But listen, kid, don’t dawdle—grab those tickets in advance. We take cash or credit, no IOUs!
Will there be music?
You better believe it, old sport! A jazzy band will be swinging so sweet, your feet won’t know what hit ‘em. It’s the real McCoy—don’t miss it!
Can I leave and come back?
Once you scram, that’s it—no re-entry, see? Plan accordingly.
Can I bring my dog?
Sorry, Fido’s gotta sit this one out. Only service animals in proper getup are allowed—rules are rules, pal.
Can I bring my kid in a stroller or carrier?
Sorry, junior’s got to stay home. This shindig’s strictly for the grown-ups.
What if it rains?
Rain, schmain—The Cyclorama’s fully enclosed and comfy as can be. Just bring a little cover for waiting in line.
Can I bring outside snacks or drinks?
Pretzel necklaces and munchies? Sure thing! Sealed water bottles or empty canteens are welcome too—hydration’s the bee’s knees.
What kind of grub will be there?
Get ready for tasty treats from The Sausage Guy and Wild Fox Pierogis—yum city!
Will there be gluten-free options like cider or seltzer?
A few ciders, seltzers and Kombuchas will be in the mix, but remember, this bash is all about the beer, folks.
What about non-drinkers or expecting mothers?
We’ve got a designated driver ticket for just $10—perfect for pals who want to join the fun without tipping a glass.
Are there restrooms?
You betcha! Real, honest-to-goodness flushable bathrooms await—luxury at its finest.
So dust off your glad rags and join us for a roaring good time—it’s gonna be the cat’s meow!
About The Massachusetts Brewers Guild
Founded in 2007 by a group of committed and passionate brewers, the Massachusetts Brewers Guild serves as the collective voice for brewers on Beacon Hill while also providing marketing and educational resources for breweries across the state. Promotion and protection are at the forefront of the Massachusetts Brewers Guild’s work. Despite the success of the craft beer industry, brewers face many challenges including access to market, cost of raw materials and ingredients, and operation in a highly regulated and taxed industry making protection an essential component of the organization’s mission.
