Mutual Fund is a company that collects money from various investors and invests in a variety of securities like bonds and stocks. There are eight new mutual funds are going to be launched this week, with two sectoral funds, one thematic fund, a value fund, a multi-cap fund, a fixed maturity plan, an index fund, and an ETF that will open for subscription this week.

Two Sectoral Funds

The fund is a type of mutual fund that mainly invests in companies from a particular industry or sector. It focuses on a specific trend or theme within that sector.

The ITI Bharat Consumption Fund and HSBC Financial Services Fund will open for subscription on February 6 and will close on February 20.

These are two sectoral theme funds you can invest in during this period.

Thematic Fund

A thematic fund is a type of mutual fund that invests in companies from a specific industry or sector based on a particular theme. These funds help you invest in different sectors related to that theme, making your investment portfolio more diverse.

Invesco India Business Cycle Fund will open for subscription on February 6 and will close on February 20.

Value Fund

A value fund is an investment that buys stocks that are priced lower than what experts think they are worth. These funds can be either mutual funds or exchange-traded funds (ETFs).

Mahindra Manulife Value Fund is going to open for subscription on February 7 and will close on February 21.

Multi Cap Fund

A multi-cap fund is a type of mutual fund that invests in companies of all sizes – large-cap, mid-cap, and small-cap. This approach helps the fund manager adjust to different market conditions and take advantage of opportunities in various sectors.

Bajaj Finserv Multi Cap Fund is going to open for subscription on February 6 and will close on February 20.

Index Fund

An index fund is a simple way to invest in a group of different companies or securities that follow a market index, like the Nifty or Sensex. Instead of picking individual stocks or bonds, an index fund includes a mix of them to match the performance of the entire index.

SBI Nifty IT Index Fund opened for subscription on February 4 and will close on February 17.

ETFs

ETFs (Exchange-Traded Funds) are a type of investment that you can buy and sell on the stock market, just like regular stocks.

Kotak Nifty 100 Equal Weight ETF opened for subscription on February 3 and will close on February 17.

Fixed Maturity Plan

A Fixed Maturity Plan, or FMP, is a type of debt-oriented mutual fund whose investment is in bonds. It promises a pre-known fixed return on investment over a known period so that you precisely know how much you are going to earn by the end of your investment period.

Bandhan FMP-209-93D opened for subscription on February 3 and will close on February 10.
