Keiter honored for promoting employee wellness
Keiter was presented with a 2025 Active RVA Award on March 11, 2025. The Active RVA certification and awards program is an initiative by Sports Backers, a non-profit organization that develops programs and events designed to inspire people in Richmond’s communities to lead active lifestyles. Active RVA-certified workplaces provide pathways for all employees to get moving, get healthy, and maximize their health and wellness through regular physical activity. The Active RVA program recognizes employers and schools in Richmond that have innovative programs to promote physical activity and wellness. This is the fifth year that Keiter has maintained the Active RVA Certification and been recognized with an award.
Staying active at Keiter
The health and wellness of employees is a priority at Keiter. Keiter defines employee wellness as meeting the diverse needs of our team, which includes not just physical health, but social, emotional, financial, and career health. The firm actively seeks new and innovative ways to promote wellness and keep team members active. Some of these initiatives include a monthly wellness incentive to offset the costs of wellness-related activities, puppy visits from the Richmond SPCA, weekly wellness workshops, and chair yoga during busy season.
