Meet CBSE 12th Topper Karan, son of Army Officer posted in Jammu, got 499 marks out of 500
Now that the results of the CBSE 12th Board Exam 2025 are in, Karan Pilania, a Meerut native, is making national headlines. By earning 499 out of 500 points in the 12th board, Karan, the son of a BSF jawan stationed on the border, has brought honours to Meerut. His family and the nation as a whole are proud of this accomplishment.
If we see Karan’s grade report:
100/100 in English
Physics: 100/100
Chemistry: 99 out of 100
100/100 in Maths
Painting: 100/100
Karan received 499 out of 500 points in this manner, placing him among the highest scorers in the CBSE.
Success comes from hard work and balance
“It wasn’t like I studied only during exam time,” Karan said in an interview with UP Tak. I put in a lot of effort all year long, followed my teachers’ advice, and spent four to five hours a day at home studying on my own. My tenth-grade experience taught me that studying under pressure is impossible, so this time I studied calmly and performed well on my tests.
Despite network issues, Karan’s father, who is stationed with the BSF on the Jammu border, used to encourage his son to study every night at eight o’clock. “Papa never caused me stress; he only encouraged me to do well in my studies,” Karan claims.
The objective now is to attend IIT before serving the nation.
Karan’s next objective is to ace the May 18 JEE Advanced exam. In order to help the nation in the future, he hopes to study engineering at a reputable Indian Institute of Technology and work as an engineer for a defence company.
