RLB LLP ANNOUNCES MATTHEW VENNE AS NEW MANAGING PARTNER
Guelph, Ontario – February 5th, 2025 – RLB Chartered Professional Accountants, a leading accounting and advisory firm in Southern Ontario, is pleased to announce the appointment of Matthew Venne, CPA, CA, as Managing Partner effective January 1, 2025. This marks a significant milestone for the firm as it looks toward a dynamic future under Matthew’s leadership.
Matthew joined RLB in 2005 and has been instrumental in the firm’s growth and success specifically in the Wellington and Dufferin Counties over the past two decades. He has held several key leadership roles, including serving as the firm’s People Investment Officer and, most recently, as a member of RLB’s Executive Board. Throughout his tenure, Matthew has demonstrated a deep commitment to the success of the firm’s clients, enhancing the overall client experience, and supporting the communities in which RLB operates.

This appointment follows a deliberate and collaborative process by RLB’s partnership group, with thoughtful consideration of the firm’s strategic vision. While Matthew will transition from the majority of his client-facing responsibilities to dedicate more time to the strategic leadership of the firm, he has worked diligently to ensure that his clients will be well cared for by other skilled accountants within the greater RLB team.
As RLB celebrates this leadership transition, the firm also expresses gratitude to the members of its Executive Board – Jason Gibbons, and Tom Gaskell– for their continued guidance and contributions during this process.
