First, I need to say “thank you” to Acumatica for hosting me at their “great” 2025 Summit at the Wynn Resort in Las Vegas.
Now let me share some of my ‘non-technical take always’ from the summit. Be assured that I will have many more summary articles within Insightful Accountant and in-depth “How to ERP ‘Acumatica’” within Be Insightful.
The overall mission of Acumatica is “Building the future of business, ‘together’.” That ‘together’ part is not only a commitment but a ‘dynamic’ that was present in everything evidenced during the Summit. This event seemed more focused on Acumatica’s “customers” and “partners” than it did about Acumatica itself.
With more than 3,500 of their 10,000 customers and 600 partners in attendance, this ‘together’ focus was key from the opening moments of the welcome reception to the first and second day’s keynotes. It was equally present in the exhibit hall and the breakout sessions.
Acumatica is invested in seeing tomorrow’s leading companies grow and prosper. To do that, Acumatica has built an extremely functional and dynamic ERP to help small and midsized companies thrive in today’s economy. They seem equally focused on the same success for their partners.
In order to thrive, Acumatica customers and partners need to “perform at their optimum level,” so, Acumatica has focused their most current enhancements within their 2025R1, as well as their product roadmap, on bringing operational and financial data together, automating workflow through AI and machine learning, and intelligently working with each customer’s data in more connected and collaborative ways.
To enhance the performance of their customers and partners, Acumatica is also implementing even more ‘collaborative’ activities through an expanded ‘community’. The Acumatica Community provides resources and enhanced communications regarding the needs and workflows that work best for each customer. Helping to facilitate these efforts will be some of the AI features being incorporated into the ERP. AI can evaluate historical patterns and norms to aid in enhanced performance and success by providing meaningful measures of system utilization with a focus on ‘more options’ for the customer.
What better measure of return on investment than actual performance success in the form of achieving more in any and every dynamic measure that the ERP itself can ascertain through the power of AI.
So many sessions to learn from, so many vendors to see, so many customers to chat with, and interviews to conduct (many of which you will hear about in future articles)… not to mention so many details of product enhancements found in the 2025R1 release.
Clearly, the Acumatica Summit is the place to be if you are pondering a different ERP, upgrading from your legacy financial and operational systems, or wanting to learn more about what Acumatica can do to enhance your company’s performance and make your business thrive.
