What Updated Documents Are Required for Free Medical Tests at Delhi Govt Dispensaries?
The Lieutenant Governor of National Capital Territory of Delhi has introduced changes in the list of required documents for free medical laboratory tests. The official gazette notification dated May 20, 2025, outlines the revised list of documents.
The lab tests are outsourced to another company, and the tests are run by government hospitals, polyclinics, Delhi government dispensaries, and AamAadmiMohalla Clinics in Delhi to check the patient’s health. The tests are free of cost for the patients, which means that the patients do not have to pay any amount to avail this service. The Delhi government bears the lab test cost from its consolidated funds.
