Will NEET PG 2025 Be Delayed? Analysis for Possibilities

Here are some reasons the NBE might consider while deciding whether to postpone the NEET PG 2025 exam:

NBE is responsible for holding the exam fairly. Since the NEET PG 2025 is planned in a single shift, they may need to take extra steps to ensure security.

Conducting NEET PG in a single shift is not new—it was always held this way until 2023. So, the exam may go ahead as planned.

If NBE needs to arrange more exam centres, it might take extra time. If the city intimation slip is not released on June 2, there’s a higher chance the exam could be postponed.

Will the NEET PG 2025 City Slip be Released on June 2, 2025?

TCS is the agency that conducts the online examinations. NBE will work with TCS to find more exam centres. Once the centres are confirmed, the exam can be conducted on June 15.

But there’s a challenge, RRB NTPC exams are scheduled to be held from June 6 to 24, 2025, for over 1.2 crore candidates in three shifts per day. That means over 6 lakh students per shift. Many centres are already booked for this, making it harder for NBE to find the 900+ extra centres it needs for the NEET PG exam. This increases the chance of a delay.

There are around 60% chances of the NEET PG 2025 delay, and 40% chances of the exam being held on June 15.

If the National Board of Examinations (NBE) delays the examination, then by next week, it will apply for the date extension in the Supreme Court. The official update for the confirmed date is yet to be released.

Students should not believe any rumours about NEET PG 2025 being postponed. They should keep preparing for the exam as planned.
