On December 27, 2024, at 12:00 PM, FEMEN activists will hold a protest in St. Peter’s Square, Vatican City, near the nativity scene, to raise awareness of Russia’s war crimes against Ukrainian children. Over 700,000 Ukrainian children have been abducted or forcibly relocated to occupied territories by Russian forces. These children are subjected to violence and deprived of the right to a safe childhood.
The inaction of the Pope and international institutions like the United Nations has come to symbolize their impotence in the face of this horrific crime.
