American hardcore band Turnstile have raised over $35,000 (£26,400) for Baltimore-based charity Health Care For The Homeless from their free benefit concert on Saturday, May 10.
Taking place at Wyman Park Dell, the gig was free to enter, with QR codes set around the park that allowed fans to donate to the charity, which offers medical, dental, therapy and addiction support services to people in the city and wider Maryland who are experiencing homelessness.
Turnstile paid for the show’s production on their own, which was organised in collaboration with Nurse Booking, and debuted three new songs, ‘NEVER ENOUGH’, which is the title track for their upcoming album due next month, as well as ‘SEEIN’ STARS’ and ‘BIRDS’.
