I started riding with the Fuller Center in 2015 and have joined for 6 different years including a coast-to-coast ride in 2018. I took 5 years off and returned in 2024.
This year will be the first time I’ve ridden with family. My dad is riding from Seattle, WA to Cloverdale, CA with me this year. Unbeknownst to him, I signed up to be sweeps today. When Brad asked who sweeps would be, I was the only one who raised her hand.
My dad and I took our time taking in the views. As we rode I heard a small voice, of course it was a thought but it felt like it came from somewhere outside of me. And the voice said “I’m here”.
What I felt and how I connected this message was in recognizing that divinity was with me in the trees, the leaves, every rock on the road, and through every thing living and non-living. I felt filled with gratitude to live in this moment doing this activity and taking in the beauty provided by God.
