Traverse Journeys announced their Travel Scholarship Fund, a new initiative aimed at broadening access to travel for those facing temporary financial hardship. Participants can either Become a Sponsor or Apply for a Scholarship through a simple application process.
“We noticed that so many in the travel community are going through challenging financial times, losing jobs or facing uncertainty,” says founder and CEO Ashley Blake. “We also saw that others are in a season of abundance. So we thought, how can we match these two together to further the transformative power of travel that we so deeply believe in?”
Features and benefits of the Travel Scholarship Fund include:
- For every contribution into the Travel Scholarship Fund by sponsors, Traverse Journeys will match equally to provide a Scholarship to award recipients.
- Participation by the award recipient on a Traverse Journeys small group trip or retreat in one of 25+ destinations
- Community building between Sponsors and Award Recipients to further the positive impact of mindful travel, both for the traveler and the communities visited, including ATTA on-the-ground partners.
The Travel Scholarship Fund is available starting as of February 20, 2025.
