
Top of the Ticker: ABC News will toast 45 years of Nightline with a special broadcast on Monday, March 24, at 12:35 a.m. ET. The episode will feature all-new interviews with past and present anchors, as well as rare archival footage that speaks to the show’s impact on television journalism.
Nightline’s 45th anniversary will also include an updated logo combining elements from its original look with a more modern design. ABC News programs and platforms will feature tributes to Nightline throughout the day on March 24.
C-SPAN Milestone: C-SPAN also just celebrated an anniversary, ringing in 46 years on March 19. True Crime Time: ABC News’ 20/20 is branching into the true-crime podcast space, teaming up with ABC News Audio to launch three new podcasts. 20/20: The After Show is hosted by Deborah Roberts, and allows listeners to hear the story behind each episode. Meanwhile, the Brad Mielke-hosted Crime Scene Weekly premiered March 20, and takes a broader view of the true crime space each week.
