CEO of Ad Agency DASH TWO Gino Sesto’s Marriage Proposal

LOS ANGELES–(BUSINESS WIRE)–When the founder of a digital and outdoor advertising agency sets out to propose, you can expect something extraordinary. Gino Sesto, the entrepreneur and owner of Culver City-based DASH TWO, orchestrated a remarkable marriage proposal by utilizing bus bench ad space right outside his girlfriend Bettina Ho’s workplace in Los Angeles.

Keith Thompson, Executive Vice President at Martin Outdoor, remarked, “This proposal showcases the incredible potential of transit bench billboard advertising.” The seven-foot-long bus benches provided Gino with ample space to craft his unique and memorable proposal. He strategically selected benches directly in front of Bettina’s office at the Anti-Defamation League in Los Angeles.

Bettina, who works at ADL, a civil rights non-profit, arrived at work unaware of the surprise Gino had planned. The proposal perfectly reflected their shared connection, as they originally met in the advertising industry. Bettina was in ad sales at AMC Networks, while Gino was leading his own company, DASH TWO.

The couple, who had been together for three years, are proud parents to Lulu, their French Bulldog, who played a starring role in the proposal. The first seven-by-two-foot bench featured Lulu in a festive party hat, accompanied by the words “Marry Me Bettina? – Gino.” The second bench offered Bettina the option to circle “Yes” or “No,” though her enthusiastic “Yes” made the gesture purely symbolic.

For Gino, a creative force in advertising and the owner of DASH TWO for nine years, this unforgettable proposal was a natural extension of his visionary approach to life and business.
