
Boeing delivered 44 new aircraft in February 2025, outperforming rival Airbus for the second month in a row. The European planemaker delivered 40 aircraft to customers during the same period.
This is a decrease from the 45 aircraft delivered in January 2025. In February 2025, Boeing received 13 new aircraft orders, down from 36 in January 2025.
According to Boeing’s orders and deliveries report, of the 44 aircraft delivered in February 2025, there were 32 737s, five 767s, two 777Fs, and five 787s.
So far this year, Boeing has delivered a total of 89 aircraft, including 72 737s, nine 787s, five 767s and three 777s. The company has also secured 49 new aircraft orders in 2025.
Meanwhile, Airbus announced it delivered 40 aircraft to 25 customers in February 2025, increasing its total deliveries for the year to 65 aircraft across 34 customers. The company also received 14 new orders in February 2025. In January 2025, Airbus delivered 25 aircraft to 17 customers and had 55 new gross orders for that month.
Boeing has 6,197 unfilled orders as of March 2025, The planemaker is still recovering from a strike by 33,000 machinists on the US West Coast, which halted most of its aircraft production for seven months in 2024. The planemaker is also facing challenges in certain defense programs and their associated charges.
