flydubai is set to open its new Flight Training Centre in the coming weeks, marking a significant step in the airline’s continued growth and its commitment to advancing pilot training capabilities.
The multimillion-dollar facility, located on the flydubai Campus in Dubai, will play a critical role in supporting the airline’s expansion plans. The new 38,000-square-foot training center is currently equipped with two Full-Flight Simulators (FFS) for Boeing 737 family aircraft, with two additional simulators planned for installation by the end of 2026.
According to flydubai statement, the facility is designed to accommodate over 43,000 training hours annually, offering enhanced flexibility for pilot training schedules and on-demand access to simulator bays. These capabilities are expected to support the growing demand for skilled pilots as flydubai continues to expand its operations both regionally and internationally.
“The increased flexibility in flydubai’s pilot training schedules and on-demand access to the simulator bays will enable further expansion of the airline’s training capabilities, which can be extended to other airlines in the future,” the airline wrote in the statement.
In addition to the flight simulators, the center is equipped with a range of advanced training facilities, including briefing and debriefing rooms, classrooms, and computer-based training rooms.

The modular design of the facility allows for future expansion, ensuring it can adapt to flydubai’s evolving training needs as its aircraft fleet continues to grow.
