Philippine Airlines announced that it will operate nonstop flights from Manila-Ninoy Aquino International Airport (MNL) to Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK).
The thrice-weekly flights will commence on March 30, 2025, using the carrier’s A321 aircraft with a capacity ranging from 168 to 199 seats. The flight will offer two classes, in business and economy.
“We are honored to serve the capital city of the People’s Republic of China, the diplomatic heart of the world’s second-largest economy, as our contribution to strengthening air links to the Chinese mainland,” Philippine Airlines President and Chief Operating Officer Captain Stanley K. Ng said in a statement. “We believe that the Manila-Beijing service will help boost tourism, enhance trade and deepen the friendly ties between the Filipino and Chinese people.”
The flights will operate on the following schedules:
PR 358 departing Manila 06:55 local time, arriving Beijing 11:55 local time every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday
PR 359 departing Beijing 12:55, arriving Manila 18:05 every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday.
In addition to Beijing, the Philippine flag carrier operates daily flights from Manila to:
- Quanzhou Jinjiang International Airport (JJN)
- Shanghai Pudong International Airport (PVG)
- Xiamen Gaoqi Airport (XMN)
