Showcasing our Galileo PRS solutions at the Security Accreditation Board anniversary in Prague
On the 25th and 26th of June 2025, EUSPA (European Union Agency for the Space Programme) hosted the 15th SAB (Security Accreditation Board) anniversary celebration in its Prague facility. Thales was honored to participate to this event among many other European companies working on Galileo PRS.
The event was a unique opportunity for Thales to showcase the Galileo PRS solutions we have been developing for many years. In particular, Thales introduced the Galileo PRS Core Module, enabling new partnerships aimed at facilitating the widespread and swift adoption of Galileo PRS across Europe.
The Galileo PRS Core Module is a low Size (2.36’’ x 2.36’’ x 0.28’’), Weight (50g) and Power (2W) digital solution designed specifically for EU companies searching for an easy to integrate and standardized Galileo PRS Module in order to develop their own GNSS receivers. As such, it is intended to be integrated into non-Thales receivers, as already successfully demonstrated in France in order to address all French platforms. It also provides modularity to the host receiver by enabling an easy upgrade to the OS version of the Topstar Galileo Core Module, without additional schedule, risks and costs (Plug & Play).
The Thales team was very excited by all discussions on potential partnerships started during the event and encourages all interested companies to contact us as we will be continuing our efforts in this direction over the coming months.
