Afrika Mamas is a South African vocal ensemble composed of six women from diverse backgrounds who share a passion for Zulu folk music and a dedication to raising awareness for women’s rights. For over 20 years, they have captivated audiences worldwide with their unique blend of a cappella harmonies, co-produced by Xolani Majozi of Ladysmith Black Mambazo. They performed at the London Olympics, and won a South African Traditional Music Award (SATMA) in 2022.
