After a string of successful releases, Sherwøød has solidified his place as an emerging artist, musician, and producer. His transformative journey is deeply rooted in his multicultural experiences. Growing up in Rome and studying in an international setting, his artistry draws from a blend of diverse influences, combining classical training, celebrating Indie and Hip-Hop genres, and contemporary soundscapes.
A multi-instrumentalist, spanning a diverse range of voices including the piano, bass and guitar, Sherwøød’s artistic journey began at the young age of seven. Ignited through cello lessons in primary school, it was during a summer camp at Buck’s Rock Performing Arts Camp in Connecticut where Sherwøød first ignited his passion for songwriting and production. Here he was introduced to production software, sparking an inspired shift of creativity, where after soon acquiring Logic Pro 9, he marked the start of his production journey.
Blending modern electronic sounds with influences from Indie-rock, Hip-Hop, Electronica and R&B, Sherwøød’s creative process is deeply introspective. A raw and striking personal expression blending vulnerability with poetic lyricism, each track delicately balancing honesty and elusiveness.
Resonative due to its authenticity and ability to capture complex emotions, Sherwøød’s music seeks to explore themes of isolation, loneliness and trauma through internal monologues. Pulling heavily from past experiences, his artistry dissects the nature of relationships, presented through his unique voice that uses sparsity and repetition while expressing fixations and emotions that otherwise pass us by.
Sherwøød’s upcoming release, Wait 4 U Again, dropping April 3rd, is one of his most personal yet. The track delves into his entanglement with a toxic, manipulative partner, capturing the desperation of becoming someone else for a chance at love. Yearnful and nostalgic, its lyrics and production amplify the despair of chasing an illusion until the moment of realisation shatters it all.
His forthcoming release, ‘Dear B’, set to drop April 24th, is a deeply personal track born from the heartache of lost friendship. Expelling vulnerability and relatability, the song tells the story of love unfolding not in a way hoped, and though friendships remain, they sometimes never quite stay the same. Pouring out a natural reflection of longing and pain, beyond its personal roots, ‘Dear B’ carries a universal truth in having lost someone you always thought would be there. In speaking to this shared experience, the track sets to offer a space to feel, reflect, and examine one’s relationship with those around him. Both tracks will be available on all major digital platforms.
Sherwøød has already stunned audiences with the release of ‘Pride’ and ‘Dopamine’, has been a quarter-finalist at The Isle of Wight’s New Blood Competition, and has played at beloved venues like The Camden Assembly, Hoxton Underbelly, Katzpace, and The Amersham Arms. With 2025 set to be a stellar year, expect a live showcase at the O2 Academy Islington on April 3rd, a soon-to-be-announced festival appearance, and the anticipated release of his self-titled EP, with more to come.
