US singer-songwriter and producer Sarah Nienaber uses the name Blue Tomorrows. The musician’s uniquely crafted indie sound is set to be exhibited once again on her upcoming third album, Weather Forever (due December 12th). Out now, the single “Owl Creek Blues” offers us a taste of what is to come.
This dreamy indie track serves as the second single–and is the follow-up to “Colorado”. It is nostalgic and melancholy-tinged, with the accompanying music video giving of a similar vibe.
Musically, I like Blue Tomorrow’s blend of organic instruments and warm analog synths on “Owl Creek Blues”. The artist wrote and produced this song (and the album) herself.
