An Urban Goat Farmer Makes Decorative Goat Pillows – Cooking Up a Story

Nancy Arcement talks about her goats, both the real ones she and her husband (Ed) raise and the decorative goat pillows she makes, as well. This video provides a glimpse of her process.

Nancy and Ed love their goats. Living in the city, they still manage to maintain a small herd for producing goat milk. Along with that passion, Nancy makes hundreds of decorative goat pillows, intricately sewn and carefully inspected at the end (she hugs each one) before setting them aside to enter the real world (sold to customers).

We were fortunate to have some we selected to sell in our store. For those who would like to find out more about the Arcement’s and their goats, here’s the story that we produced: An Urban Goat Farm: Abita Springs Farm
