We have all heard the saying Circle of Life.
Yesterday, I saw the Circle of Life twice. Well, maybe not in the same context as the Lion King, but nonetheless, it was a “circle of life” moment.
Looking through some of the township documents, I literally stopped in my footsteps when I read the handwritten minutes from the 1990s. You guessed it. They were written by my mother-in-law.
The handwriting was exquisite, and my mother also had beautiful handwriting. (In my opinion, handwriting is a lost art.) So, as I am writing minutes from our meeting last night in the SAME notebook she wrote in years ago, I stopped and took the time to feel the connection and thinking how cool is this.
My second story from yesterday is my granddaughter plays viola in the high school orchestra. Viola is not a common instrument–not like the violin or cello. My connection is I also played the viola in the high school orchestra.
Same school. Same stage.
50 years apart.
Wow. We probably all have moments like this at some point in our lives. Take the time for these moments and feel the connection.
