With over three meters of space, the new La Première first class cabin is for the most exclusive of luxury flyers.
Air France wants to re-imagine what first class looks like for long-haul passengers seeking opulence.
The airline announced the “reinvention” of their La Première first class cabin, a 3.5 meter suite which will launch in the Spring of 2025.
Four Suites Aboard Boeing 777-300ER Feature Best of the Airline
Only four suites will be offered on equipped flights, with the suite coming first to the airline’s Boeing 777-300ER airframes. Spanning five windows, each one features a large first-class seat and a chaise lounge chair which can be converted to a bed stretching over six feet long.

The suites were designed in France by STELIA Aerospace, adding 25% more space compared to the current first class configuration. Each seat has four different modes for each phase of the flight: Takeoff, landing, dining, or relaxation mode. Every part of the suite is controlled by a wireless touchscreen tablet.
Instead of overhead bins, flyers will place their luggage in sliding drawers, capable of accommodating two standard carry-on bags. A drawer under the chaise lounge offers a space for footwear, while a personal compartment is hidden near the seat for small personal belongings.

For flights departing from Paris, Emmanuel Renaut, Arnaud Lallement and Anne-Sophie Pic will rotate creating the menu for La Première guests. Each awarded three Michelin stars, dishes will feature French delicacies including Sturia caviar, prestigious French champagnes, and foie gras.
Entertainment and connectivity isn’t lost in the new first class. Flyers are treated to entertainment on multiple 32-inch screens, visible from both seats. Multiple outlets, including 110v and 220v, USB-A, and USB-C, are available to plug in devices. First class flyers will also get access to free wi-fi throughout the flight.

The first flight featuring the new La Première cabin will fly between Paris and New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK). Additional destinations coming in 2025 include Los Angeles, Singapore, and Tokyo Haneda Airport (HND)
