Turkish Airlines’ low cost subsidiary AJet has cancelled at short notice plans to launch flights between Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen Airport and Mostar. The route was due to launch today. The airline said the service has been discontinued due to operational reasons. Ticket sales between the two cities have been suspended. The carrier planned to operate flights once per week with the Boeing 737-800 aircraft. The development comes less than a month after AJet executives and tour operators from Turkey visited Mostar ahead of the planned service launch.
