I’m conducting private historical research regarding a former Air Algérie captain. I am trying to verify if a pilot, possibly named Djamel Mehdi, could have been part of the crew of flight AH1232 (7T-VJK), which overran the runway in Lyon, France, on August 29, 2009.
He was reportedly recruited in 1978, became captain in 1999, and had experience on Fokker 27, B727, and B737-200.
