Bogotá and Caracas Join List of Qatar Airways’ Destinations for Summer 2025 – Travel Radar


Qatar Airways has officially revealed two new destinations on its list for Summer 2025: Colombia’s Bogotá and Venezuela’s Caracas. The two new routes are the airline’s 15th and 16th destinations in the Americas, respectively.

A Significant Milestone for Qatar Airways

The outbound flight will travel from Hamad International Airport (DOH) in Doha to Bogotá El Dorado International Airport (BOG) in Colombia, before continuing to Simon Bolivar International Airport (CCS) in Venezuela. The return flight will travel nonstop from Caracas to Doha.

The new route will be the airline’s second-longest flight to the Americas.

Commenting on the launch, Badr Mohammed Al-Meer, Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Officer, said:

The Aircraft Supporting The Route

Recently voted the World’s Best Airline at the Skytrax World Airline Awards, Qatar Airways is sure to deliver exceptional service and hospitality.

The route will be operated using Boeing 777-200LR aircraft which boasts 234 seats in Economy Class and 42 in Business Class.

No matter the seats chosen, travellers are guaranteed an exciting adventure when visiting these two vibrant South American cities.
