Delta Air Lines is working with Uber and their lines of business to offer flyers SkyMiles with every ride and Uber Eats order.
Loyal Delta Air Lines flyers now have a new way to earn miles on the ground.
The Atlanta-based carrier announced a partnership with Uber, where travelers can earn SkyMiles every time they take a trip or order food with the logistics company.
Miles Earned for Everything From Uber Eats to Reserve Rides
Under the partnership, Delta SkyMiles members can link their membership with their Uber account using the Uber apps. From there, they will automatically earn miles for their Uber activities, ranging from rides to food delivery.
Members will earn 3X miles on Uber Reserve rides, which allows them to schedule their trip up to 90 days in advance. They will also earn 2X miles on premium Uber rides, including Uber Comfort and Uber Black. When catching an UberX, flyers will earn 1X miles only when traveling to or from the airport.
Travelers can also earn 1X miles on Uber Eats orders on food and grocery delivery over $40 in the U.S. only. The total does not include non-food or beverage charges, including taxes, delivery fees, or tips.
“SkyMiles Membership is about giving Delta’s loyal customers more ways to earn even more miles, fly with more ease, and experience more of what really matters to them,” Prashant Sharma, vice president of loyalty at Delta, said in a press release. “Our new partnership with Uber not only expands the value of loyalty and makes it easier than ever for our members to get rewarded – it also opens the door for new audiences to find reasons to love SkyMiles, no matter how often they fly.”
Delta previously announced their partnership with Uber at the 2025 Consumer Electronics Show as part of a wider plan to modernize the 100-year-old carrier.
