In 1955, No.2 FTS was selected to implement the second phase of the proposed of the Service evaluation of the all-through jet training syllabus. Three courses are known to have been run between August 1955 – March 1957. the first two courses are well documented , but there is no mention of the third and final course. I believe that the third course was for instructors destined for RAF Sywell. But no-one has ever put their hands up to being a member of this course, unless anyone can positively recall one?
