Now that TheDesignAir Awards 2025 public vote has closed, there’s still a chance for design studios, airlines and airports to enter our Design Innovation Award which celebrates innovation in the passenger experience field that truly enhances the traveller journey.
From new seats to game-changing passenger experience products, sustainable service ware to new lighting options, we’re looking for the best of the best of innovation within the industry. This is our chance to celebrate the agencies and companies that have put their best foot forward in thinking outside of the box, and solving the issues faced throughout the passenger journey. It is free to enter, but the innovation has to have been introduced in 2025.
Last year’s winner, OmanAir ‘Business Studio’
2024 saw the airline re-position its once elegant and understated First Class products to a Business Class ‘Studio’. This simple repositioning has meant passengers can now experience one of the largest Business Class seats in the skies, with double doors, a small intimate cabin and enhanced soft products, this repositioning of the cabin has delivered more efficiencies through similar service, catering and training reducing overheads and giving the airline a better chance to deliver a more profitable business model.
