Last Day Today: Buy Hyatt Points with a 20% Bonus (US Cents 2.16 | INR 1.84 per point)

There are many point purchase offers from hotel chains. Still, one of the best promotions is from Hyatt, which offers you points with a 20% bonus on points purchased. Hence, it is an excellent opportunity to buy Hyatt points cheaply.

Buy Hyatt Points Cheap, with a 20% bonus on points purchased.

Through July 21, 2025, World of Hyatt is offering a 20% bonus on points purchased when you buy at least 5,000 points in one transaction.

The image features a promotional offer with text overlay. The text reads: "Buy 5,000+ points for a 20% bonus. Your next adventure is closer than you think — Buy points, get 20% more. Offer ends July 21, 2025." The background shows a modern building with large glass windows and some trees.

Hyatt usually allows you to purchase a maximum of 55,000 points. At the top end, it costs 2.16 USD cents per World of Hyatt point after the 20% bonus is factored in. In Indian Rupees, this becomes INR 1.84 per point.

The image shows a purchase interface for buying bonus points. It asks, "AJAY, How many Bonus Points do you want to buy?" A dropdown menu displays an option to buy 55,000 bonus points with an additional 11,000 bonus points for a total of $1,430.00 USD. On the right, it shows a breakdown: 55,000 Bonus Points, a 20% bonus of 11,000 points, totaling 66,000 Bonus Points. The subtotal is $1,430.00 USD. A blue "Pay now" button is present, and a note mentions that applicable taxes and fees will be calculated at checkout.

Buying Hyatt points can be a good deal at both ends of the spectrum. For properties such as the Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa, which costs over USD 1150 per night (excluding taxes) or typically 30,000-35,000 points per night, you can reduce the price to approximately USD 552-682 with purchased points.

Since Hyatt has many top-end properties around India and no credit card transfer partners in India, it makes sense to buy World of Hyatt points if you consider staying at a Hyatt hotel, especially with a 20% bonus on the points bought. Hyatt has acquired numerous brands, and a significant number of new hotels have opened in India recently. There are 50ish Hyatt hotels in India at the moment (with more coming soon), including the likes of:

Out of these, there are opportunities to redeem points at the following ones, where you come out ahead with point redemptions:

  • Grand Hyatt Goa for 9,000 points (off-peak), for a hotel which goes for INR 20,000++
  • Hyatt Regency Dehradun for 8,000 points, for a hotel that frequently goes for INR 15-20,000 and more.

Which credit card should you buy WoH points with?

Typically, these point purchases are processed through Points.com and not directly by the hotel or airline. However, you will almost always pay in USD/EUR/GBP, not INR. So, the best cards to earn a bonus are Axis Olympus, Axis Reserve or American Express Platinum Charge Card, as these cards offer an international spending bonus. Beyond these, consider any card that offers a reduced foreign exchange spend conversion or one that helps you meet minimum spend requirements.
