There is an immense craze for refundable tickets when it comes to air travel. Non refundable tickets are sometimes 50% cheaper but people don’t want to book them fearing “what if I can’t travel”.
People book refundable tickets paying 2x the money compared to non refundable ticket and if they do travel on that ticket, they are already losing lots of money compared to non refundable ticket.
