Podgorica Airport handled 94.950 passengers in March, representing a decrease of 4.9% on the same month last year. It marks the second consecutive month of declining figures following a flat January. The main culprit for the decline was Ryanair, which suspended all but one of its routes to Podgorica over the winter season and cut 54% of its capacity in March. Pegasus Airlines also contributed to the slump. During the first quarter, Podgorica Airport welcomed 255.949 travellers through its doors, down 4.9% on last year or 13.050 fewer passengers.
