Sarajevo Airport welcomed 197.260 passengers through its doors in May, representing an increase of 30.5% on the same month last year. The number of aircraft movements grew 22.9% to 1.742. During the first five months of the year, Sarajevo Airport handled 716.973 travellers, representing an improvement of 37.8% on the same period in 2024, or an additional 196.507 passengers. Growth is set to continue into June with current scheduled capacity up 17.9% compared to last year.
