Alabama got its draw for the NCAA Tournament, and to be frank it’s tough to imagine it going much better. The Tide will open up in Cleveland, OH against this group:
It’s hard to complain about that draw. There won’t be any pushovers past the first round of the tournament and St Mary’s is no exception, but the Tide will have a substantial athletic advantage against them, and Alabama has already seen Vandy this season if that’s how it goes.
Should they make the second weekend, Alabama is probably looking at either BYU or Wisconsin and then, should they survive that far, Duke in the Elite Eight. BYU is going to have an advantage playing in Denver, and the Cougars can put some points on the board.
