Tim Smith Drafted in the 6th Round by the Indianapolis Colts

Once a 5-star recruit, Tim Smith became a player that was a constant contributor and a solid starter for Alabama for nearly his whole career, but never quite lived up to his recruiting status. He was a solid, if unnoteworthy, interior player and should be viewed as a good depth piece for the Colts. Indy already has Grover Stewart and DeForest Buckner, so there’s no path for Smith to be a starter or anything, but he’ll be looking to make the team as a reliable backup.

For the Colts, they are likely banking on him having both a decent floor as a dependable player, and there being some unlockable potential in there as a guy who was once a 5-star recruit.

Roll Tide, Tim!
