In Wyoming the environment is a little different from everywhere else. Especially dead center in the state just outside the Wind River canyon. It’s beautiful, my grandfather is from Meeteetse Wyoming (not far from Kirby by Wyoming standards) and I’ve spent many a summer traveling though the state.
This is a whiskey for a lover of full bodied whiskeys. At 60.5% abv, this is a heavy weight. Personally, I am a fan of what Wyoming Whiskey is about. I happened to be in Wyoming when they released their very first batch. Suffice to say all these years later, I still have most of that bottle. Wyoming Whiskey took the criticism of their initial release head-on and now, nearly two decades later, they’ve become a popular brand among enthusiasts. This offering demonstrates exactly how far they’ve come in that time and further potential for where they are going.
