Singapore, March 2025 – Cygnet, the award-winning luxury gin brand, founded by the best-selling classical albums artist of the 21st century Katherine Jenkins OBE, and artist and social-impact filmmaker Andrew Levitas, has officially entered the Singapore market, further reinforcing its position as the Voice of Luxury Gin. This milestone marks the first step in the brand’s ambitious global expansion plan, following its premier year that saw exceptional growth and success in the UK, where it has secured listings in some of London’s most iconic establishments and achieved international recognition for its liquid and packaging alike.
Cygnet set out to change the paradigm in gin, and through incorporating Manuka honey as its signature botanical in Cygnet 22 it has done exactly this. “I wanted to create something that you can enjoy neat, without having to disguise it behind flavours or lots of sugary additions, to know that you’re drinking a really quality product, that can be enjoyed in its simplest form” said Jenkins of the award-winning sipping-gin. Jenkins has been a long-time fan of Manuka honey for its throat-soothing properties and trialled its inclusion in the distillation process when embarking upon Jenkins’ own personal expression with the brand’s 6th generation distilling team.
The expansion into Singapore follows the strategic appointment of ex-Campari Group Global CEO Matteo Fantacchiotti, who joined the business as Partner and Chairman of the board in December 2024, bringing with him a wealth of experience in the international luxury spirits industry. His leadership is already proving instrumental in positioning Cygnet as a major player in the UP+ gin sector worldwide.

Matteo Fantacchiotti said: “We are delighted to launch Cygnet in Singapore, a place I proudly called home for a decade. Singapore’s vibrant luxury on-trade scene positioned it as an ideal location to introduce Cygnet; a gin that embodies true craftsmanship, quality, and innovation. Our Singapore launch is the first milestone in our 2025 City Strategy, following the footsteps of luxury discerning consumers, making our brand available in key global capital cities and hotspots. in It is a pleasure to share this exceptional, award-winning spirit with friends old-and-new, and I look forward to seeing Cygnet elevate the gin experience in such a dynamic and discerning market.”

Cygnet launched to consumers in Singapore during the Great in the Gardens concert on 8th March, at the Botanic Gardens, where audiences were invited by The British High Commission, Nikesh Miteh, and Tanglin Symphony Orchestra to enjoy an enchanting evening of live music. Sat on picnic blankets and sipping award-winning Cygnet 22 gin with tonic (available to purchase from the Cygnet Bar located at the Orchard Plaza, Botanic Gardens) guests enjoyed an evening of beloved classics and iconic pieces from stage and screen, including a spell-binding performance from Katherine Jenkins OBE.
Following the concert Cygnet VIPs were invited to attend an exclusive cocktail reception at the newly opened Claudine terrace, hosted by Katherine Jenkins OBE and Matteo Fantacchiotti, introducing industry icons, influencers, and friends of the brand to this exquisite spirit in classic cocktails. Pride of place was “The Shard”, Cygnet 22 on the rocks, the brand’s signature serve and the Cygnet 2 sip-martini showcasing the gin’s complex character and luxurious profile.
As with the pre-launch event (hosted in partnership with Angra Wines & Spirits, Cygnet’s official distributor in Singapore) guests experienced a bespoke menu of canapes designed to complement the gin’s unique botanical profile.
This exciting launch paves the way for Cygnet’s expansion across Singapore’s luxury on trade scene. As the brand continues to redefine the gin landscape, Singapore marks the first of several new markets set to embrace this innovative and luxurious spirit.
